Furniture Care

  • Knots in natural wood furniture are individual characteristics and a gift to each piece of furniture. No two pieces will ever look the same. You can expect natural wood surfaces to change over time when exposed to climate, sunlight and humidity fluctuations.
  • General wood care: do not place hot objects on furniture, do not place candles directly on furniture, wipe up any spills immediately with a damp cloth, regularly check that screws and fittings are tight.
  • Do not clean wooden furniture with strong chemical cleaners. Only with a soft, damp cloth, well wrung out. If necessary, use a little mild soap (e.g. a little dishwashing liquid well dissolved).
  • On furniture in general and also on melamine, we take care not to spill water or liquids, because on the sides (sockets) their coating may peel off. If this happens, do not panic. Simply dry immediately with a damp cloth or kitchen paper.
