Futon mattress. Handmade with 100% cotton cover. Futon mattresses support the spine and our body in general, more correctly, they do not contain metal parts (springs), nor chemicals (glues, etc.).
Our basic futon is a 11 cm thick cotton mattress with a PU foam core. By adding 5-10% polyester to our cotton, we ensure that our futons are denser and thicker than traditional Japanese futon bedding. However, it still inherits all the good qualities of a traditional Japanese futon.
The Basic futon will provide you with medium firm sleeping comfort. The cotton in the futon will conform to your body and support it, and the foam core will isolate light movements.
- Please note that all of our futon products are handmade, so you may notice slight differences in size and weight.
- The foam is waterfoam, ecological. The futon mattresses follow the tradition of hundreds of years of Japanese tradition and are handmade with the old technique.

The fabric is made of 100% cotton. It is not waterproof. If necessary, use a dry cloth to wipe it.
We take care not to get the mattress wet. We do not place hot objects on the mattress. We use a protective waterproof mattress cover. We ventilate the room frequently.

The Transportation (outside Athens) includes the transportation of the furniture to the headquarters of the Transport Company (CITY) or to your headquarters only when this is possible - due to distance, from their Warehouse. In places that are far from the City-Headquarters of the Transport Company, the collection is done by the Customer with his own means, from the headquarters of the Transport Company. Or by New Agreement with the Transport Company - if this is possible.
- The Transport Company delivers to your ENTRANCE-sidewalk and is not required to go up floors or enter courtyards, etc.
- Anything else can only be agreed between the Customer and the Carrier, at your own risk or cost.
- You can also specify your own shipping company (at your own expense) and we will deliver your order to their warehouse in Athens, free of charge. In this case, select "Pickup from our headquarters" when you submit your order.
